Denise Pollack
I earned a BFA from Tyler School of Art and started my career as a graphic designer. Later, I completed an M.Ed. in counseling from Lehigh University and changed careers. While working as a counselor, I studied classical art with Myron Barnstone. The combination of painting and counseling have allowed me to achieve a necessary balance in my life. Spending hours observing people in my practice, has influenced my art. I am most interested in capturing mood and emotions to convey the internal experience of my subjects. I work primarily in oils. My paintings are frequently exhibited at the Lehigh Art Alliance juried shows and in various small galleries.
